So it's 2016 now!!
Hope you all have a good year and stay positive about thing that are in your life! Now I can set myself new goals to achieve this year. Don't stop yourself of not doing things that you like, if you will not succeed try again.
Today I wanted to share with you my lesson that I had with my make up artist. She works in Debenhams (Colchester) at the Benefit cosmetics. She gave me a few tips that I wanted to improve on. So it was pretty cool to be there and try out some of the products.
First tip was based on eye shadows. I needed to know what would be great to use or do to apply make up properly. The first thing is to use a eyelid primer. And to help the eye shadow blend better use a light skin colour eye shadow or even a face powder that you use on your face apply on the primer so it stays on longer. Also she gave me some testers to try out, so I will let you know how they are. At first when she was doing the eye shadows on my eyes she has use the 'Air Patrol' eyelid primer. And She gave me some testers to use again. Also she added a few different ones to try out, so I can't wait to use them!
'Big Easy' eyelid primer
We went over also over little tips like blush application and eye liner tips.
I have bought a set that is called 'Party Like a Rockstar' you can see in a picture what it contains.
There are two mascaras, the Benefit 'Roller Lash' and 'They'r Real' Mascara's. First coat you have to put on is the 'Roller Lash' and the second coat would be the 'They'r Real' mascara. They are really good!
Also it has 4 eye shadows that can be used for natural make up and for party make up.
Also she showed me how to contour the way it looks natural, I have also used the Benefit Hoola bronzer, which is amazing! I have a set from Benefit that contains the HOOLA bronzer and the little brush with it.
This is the final look that she created on my face by showing me how to apply different products. The eye shadow kit that she used is the Benefit 'Big Beautiful Eyes Palette'
