Lithuanian Treat Recipe!

Hey Guys!

So, after first blog, I wanted to do something different this time. As you know I am not English and in England people have different recipes for lots of different treats that they make. So I wanted to share with you Lithuanian treat that you could make yourselves at home! It is very simple and easy to make!
It is called 'Lazy Cake' in English, but we like to call it 'Tinginys' in Lithuanian. So if you want to make it follow down the recipe and you will love it!
Hope you try it out and want to make it at home!!

Emilia! :)

Ingredients:

1 Can of Condensed Milk
500g of toffees
2 packets of original biscuits, you can use any brand you want
50g of butter

*Also you can add Nuts into it, if you want

  • First thing you have to do is take a large bowl and smash whole pack of biscuits into it, but don't make them to big or small.
  • Then take a pot, put it on a high heat and add the butter into it. When butter is half melted, so it doesn't burn, then add the toffees in and stir it, as they start to melt turn own the heat and leave it on there for till they be melted.
  • After toffees melted turn the heat off and leave it there.
  • Add the condensed milk in to the bowl with biscuits and stir it so all the pieces are covered in it. Then add the toffees with the butter in and start stirring it, so it covers everything.
  • When the mixture is all ready take 2 plastic bags and put some mixture into it. Then shape it however you want, but don't make it to thick, because it will be harder to cut into pieces.
  • When you have put them into the bags, put them into a freezer for 2 -3 hours then take them out and leave it  over night in the room temperature. The next day it will be ready to eat!

This is how can you serve it, to your family and friends!
