Elizabeth Arden Makeup

Hello,

It took me a while to post a new blog post, because I had to concentrate on my subjects that I am doing in College. But I will try to post weekly, just to make sure that you can read my posts and enjoy them as I do, writing them to you!

Today I want to share my new products that I received quite a while ago, but I needed to try them out and see whether I like them or not. There are mixture of products, so there will be few products that will help some of you that have dry skin. All products are from Elizabeth Arden, I got a whole box of makeup and a massive makeup bag and a smaller one, which I am in love with. I tried not all of them but most of them are similar products, so if I try one I can tell what the same product will be but different colour.

This post will be quite long, but I recon girls who love makeup will love this post, and I hope this will help you to find the perfect type of product that suit you and your skin type.
If you are new to my blog, go check out my older blogs to see if you can find anything interesting for yourself.

I will start with the skin care products. There was a mini products to try out in the box and it came with a smaller makeup bag. There are two face creams and two serums, also it had a mini mascara to try out. With the whole box it had two little bottles of makeup removers as well.

I am still in process of trying out the Caplet Serum, I need a bit more time to understand what it does, but I will let you know!
The mini mascara sample is quite good, but to get the volume, you have to put few coats on to see it build up, I like using it for my lower lashes, it helps me to keep it very simple and not mess it up.

 FLAWLESS FUTURE ‘Caplet Serum’

 ‘Beautiful Colour Lash Enhancing Mascara’

This face cream is not really heave on the face and not that oily. My skin absorbs it very quickly so I don’t have to wait till it does. It makes my skin softer and it keeps it refreshed all day.

'FLAWLESS FUTURE Powered by Ceramide'

The ageing serum. I have not tried it at all, because I don’t need it, but I thing I am going to give it to someone who might like it, maybe my mum or my auntie.
But the second skin protestant cream is really good, makes my skin very soft and refreshed, it stops it from drying out and it smells good, but some of you might not like the smell, it’s like honey, but a bit different. I just love it. But there are some disadvantages, it’s really oily and applying it is not easy, you have to rub it into your face, to make sure, your skin absorbs it and it takes longer to absorb.

‘Eight Hour Cream’

The makeup removers are good, they do their job well and take all the makeup off straight away, so you don’t have to rub your face to get it off. And they leave that shiny and oily finish on your face, so it helps to keep it refreshed and not dry.

The powder has a good consistency, it is really light and doesn’t add lots of coverage. It has a bit of shimmer in it, so it makes your skin look shiny and glowing.

'Shimmer Powder'

The second mascara is really good, it makes you eyelashes pop, it ads volume and it is buildable, also it makes them longer. If you like very thick eyelashes then this mascara is the best for you, but if you want just a little bit of touch, then use the mascara I have mentioned above, or similar to it. You don't have to use the same brand, just look at the brush and you will know what difference it will make.

'Beautiful Colour Lash Enhancing' Mascara in Black 01

There were two standard size palettes that I have already tried and they are pigmented, but you can build it up for as much as you want. And also they stay for very long time without fading out. The colours look amazing on eyes and you can use them for everyday makeup or for night out look!
Also they have in them a blush that you can use to apply, they are different colours but they look really good. The colours are not very ordinary, they look quit unique, so I have tried some looks that I will show you in my next blog posts.
The packaging of these palettes is so amazing! It's like a leather type but I don't think it's real, but looks so good.

 '8 Colour Eye shadow Pelette'

In the set there were three brushed included, one of them was a fluffy powder brush, it didn’t have name or number so I couldn’t share it with you.
And there were two little brushes, one was a flat one but it is a thick one, so you could use it to apply eye shadow or use for harsh crease blending and the last one was the thin angled brush that you could use to blend the eye shadows or apply them.

Lipstick wise there were two lip glosses and four lipsticks. The lip glosses are really good and very nice on the lips, they don’t make your lips to stick together or anything like that, also they smell like vanilla and it’s very nice.
The light pink colour that is called ‘Precious Petal’ and the darker purple is ‘Passion Fruit’

And the lipsticks are really good, easy to apply, the colours are pigmented, but they don’t really stay very long on your lips if you eat or something. If you don’t touch them in any way they will stay on for long time, but overall they are really good and I like them.
The three shades of the three lipstick are not kind of lipsticks I would wear, but I am trying to get use to them, because the colours are just amazing!

'Desert Rose 17'

'Raspberry 48'

'Ultra Violet 40'

'Iced Grape 36'

There were also four pencils. Two of them were eye pencils and other two were lip pencils. They are really good, love the colour of four of them. The lip pencils stay very well on the lips and easy to apply, the colours are good, suit the lipsticks.

Dark purple is called 'Orchid'

Pink/Shimmery colour is 'Sugared Kiss'

And the other two eye pencils are very easy to apply, but very hard to blend out. Also they stay on really well.

Black pencil is called 'Smokey Black' and the blue is 'Midnight'

This is an overall image that I got in my package. Home you will try some of the Elizabeth Arden makeup, because it is really good and I think every girl has to treat herself with a bit of makeup that is not drugstore, well if you don’t have a chance to get some, then don’t worry.
